Thurrock Chess Club is a thriving chess club in Thurrock, Essex. The club has 60+ members who participate in both internal events and externally run competitions. We currently have 3 teams in the Southend & District League and 4 in the Essex League.
We have an active and growing Junior section, many of which have already represented Essex.
We are committed to supporting the development of all players and we organize training and coaching events.
We feel we have something for everyone at our club.

Where are we ?
Thurrock Chess club is fortunate to have 2 club nights and 2 different venues catering for both ends of the borough. Grays Venue Map The Grays Workingmen's Club, London Road, Grays, RM17 5YF The Grays venue meets on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 11pm. Stanford Venue Map East Thurrock Community Association, 77 Corringham Road,
Stanford-le-Hope, SS17 0NU. Entrance to car park is in Hassenbrook Road. The Stanford venue meets on Tuesday nights from 7.30pm to 11pm Quick Links
